Theory and practice perfectly combined
At the Hamburg Electrical Engineering Training Center, future specialists will be taught at ELABO's modern training facilities. Theory and practice will be optimally combined.
Initial situation
The second floor of the BZE Hamburg was to be converted to provide more space for training and further education. The former office floor offered sufficient space for various training rooms. The aim was to create modern, ergonomic and durable theory and practice areas that would be state of the art for a long time to come.
The Solution
Together with the trained workstation experts from ELABO, those responsible at the BZE have therefore opted for Primus One® and Primus Basic solutions.
In future, theoretical lessons will take place at Primus Basic workstations. The extremely robust 4-leg desks (500 kg surface load) are equipped with scratch-resistant and anti-glare HPL table tops. Replaceable and ergonomic front edges make this system particularly durable.
The continuous cable routing of the workstations, which can be arranged in a row or as a group, in conjunction with the large-volume cable ducts, the retractable socket strips and the cable flaps, ensure a tidy learning atmosphere.
Individual storage space solutions in the form of tall units, side units and base units were also created to ensure order and clarity. Existing niches were used optimally and maximum storage space was created.
The Primus Basic workstations can also be found in the trainers' offices. The varied design of the desk systems enables optimum preparation and follow-up of teaching units. The integrated cable flap allows the full depth of the workstation to be used. Side cabinets were installed as an extension to the worktop. The tops correspond visually to the worktops of the desks.
This not only provides sufficient space for teaching materials, but also creates a perfectly uniform and visually appealing appearance.
The BZE will also be using Primus Basic for practical lessons in the future. The 3U electronic superstructures provide electrification and the necessary interfaces at the workstation.
In future, practical knowledge transfer will take place at Primus One® learning islands. The stable and space-saving design of the solutions ensures highly efficient use of space. What has been learned can be put into practice on the perforated sheet metal walls. The integration of sockets, circuit breakers, RCDs, various voltage sources and much more in the Primus One® system profiles, which are inclined towards the user, supports the trainees in their tasks. Electrical installations and experiments with teaching aids can be carried out optimally - lasting learning success is guaranteed.
